Inspired by the “Rubber seed” as a tribute to Malaysia’s age old rubber industry, the Malaysian International Trade Exhibition Centre takes shape of an ellipsoidal form. It is the largest exhibition centre in Southeast Asia with column-free interior and exterior facade that is inspired by the Malaysian “Songket” textile weave which emits a sense of vernacular identity in contemporary living.
